
POST HISTORY
Post 0967 received a temporary charter on November 3, 1953 and a charter on December 29, 1954. A member provided the 1954 membership card.
Meetings were held at various locations in the the early years. The post home was established at its current location in the 1980s. The photo below shows the slab for the building slightly above center to the right as you come out of the curve in SR 415. Note the monument was already in place at that time.

An American Legion Auxiliary Unit 967 was formed on . The Auxiliary members are always anxious and willing to cooperate in every Legion activity.
